Together, we got a lot done this year.
As 2015 comes to a close, we want to thank you for all of your great work on behalf of Vermont’s young children. While there is much more to do to ensure that every Vermont child has access to high-quality, affordable child care, we have a lot to celebrate.
Click on the link below to check out a "Year-in-Review" infographic that highlights the progress we have made together in 2015. With your help, we’re building momentum:
- Our research shows that an increasing number of Vermonters understand how important the early years are to laying the foundation for success in relationships, school and in life.
- We’ve talked to thousands of Vermonters in every corner of the state and 7,500 have signed our Pledge stating their support.
- As the election season moves forward, candidates are beginning to talk about the importance of high-quality, affordable child care to Vermont’s young children and their families and Vermont’s economic development.
When you help us build awareness—whether by sharing information about early childhood on your Front Porch Forum, volunteering at a fair, or writing a letter to the editor—your actions combined with the work of our thousands of other supporters and our amazing organizational partners make a difference for young children.
As we look ahead to 2016, we've planned new ways to mobilize Vermonters around this important issue—and we'll continue to rely on your support to keep the movement growing. The stakes are high and Vermont’s children are counting on us.
Thank you for all that you do!
