March Advocacy

#InvestinKids Month!

Now that Governor Phil Scott has placed Vermont’s youngest children at the forefront of the policy discussion by calling attention to the need for increased investment in early education in his inaugural address, it’s up to us to show the governor and the Legislature just how important this issue is to Vermonters across the state.

Please join our Action Teams and hundreds of Ambassadors from around the state this March for important opportunities to keep building this movement in a big way.

1. Town Meeting Day - March 7

LGK volunteers build a statewide early childhood megaphone by representing this issue at hundreds of polling places across the state. Help us meet our goal of reaching thousands of Vermonters on March 7 by signing up to represent the campaign at your polling place.

2. Early Childhood Day at the Legislature - March 15

Join Let's Grow Kids, the Vermont Early Childhood Alliance, Building Bright Futures and hundreds of early childhood advocates to lobby for children in Montpelier! You'll have the opportunity to speak directly with legislators, be inspired by keynote speakers, network with other supporters, and get educated on the issue and how to advocate for it.

3. Rally for Kids - March 15

Join early childhood advocates for a peaceful demonstration at the State House of why Vermont should prioritize kids.
