When you gift appreciated securities, you do not pay capital gains tax on the appreciation and you receive a tax deduction for the full value of the gift. Let's Grow Kids is pleased to welcome gifts of securities and will work with you and your broker to ensure a secure and accurate transfer of assets through the Vermont Community Foundation.
